The Mariposa Fairgrounds, or the 35-A District Agricultural Association as it is formally known, is a division of the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Division of Fairs and Expositions. The governor appoints the directors for a four-year term and they are responsible for setting policy, budget approval, long-range planning and oversight of fair management. The Mariposa Board of Directors are:
